Abstract: König Friedrich (IV.) überläßt dem Bürgermeister, Richter, Rat und
den Bürgern seiner Stadt Wr. Neustadt und deren Erben
pachtweise nutz, gült und rennt folgender ihm
zustehender Ämter in der Stadt: des Stadtgerichts samt dem dazugehörigen
Landgericht, der Mauten und Grunddienste daselbst, und das
Ungeld, samt der Taverne. Die Stadt zahlt dafür 1000 lb d
pro Jahr, zahlbar an den vier Quatembertagen. Dies soll gelten für die Zeit
von den nächsten Weihnachten an bis zu Weihnachten des Jahres 1450. Der
Gesamtbetrag beträgt also 4000 lb d.King Friedrich (IV.) leases to the mayor, judge, council, and citizens of his city of Wr. Neustadt and their heirs, for rent, use, interest, and income, the following offices to which he is entitled in the city: the city court together with the associated regional court, the tolls and ground services there, and the excise tax, together with the tavern. For this, the city shall pay 1000 pounds denarii per year, payable on the four Ember Days. This shall apply for the period from the coming Christmas until Christmas of the year 1450. The total amount is thus 4000 pounds denarii.

in Wiener Neustadt, das er von neuem gestiftet hat, ein

guldins creutz, darauf ain infl, als dann die in diesem brief aigentlich

siegeln dürfen.King Friedrich (IV.) grants to the Monastery of the Holy Trinity in Wiener Neustadt, which he has newly founded, a coat of arms, namely a shield, red at the top and bottom and white in the middle, as our House of Austria has and bears, and within it a golden cross, upon which an infl, as depicted and painted in the colors specifically shown in this charter. The King also grants them the special privilege that they and their successors may seal with red wax.

um 100 Ib Wiener d an den Abt Gotfrid
und den Konvent des Neuklosters. Von diesen Weingärten dient
man jährlich 3ß 5 Wiener d nach Vorchtenstain.
Der Verkauf geschieht mit Zustimmung seines Herrn, des Königs

Kristoph Zephl, citizen and councilor in Wiener Neustadt, sells, through the hands of the bailiff Colman the butcher, residing at Sigles, his two vineyards lying next to each other at Sigles, next to the vineyard of Waldner at Offenpach, for 100 pounds Wiener pfennigs to Abbot Gotfrid and the convent of Neukloster. From these vineyards, an annual due of 3 shillings 5 Wiener pfennigs is owed to Vorchtenstain. The sale takes place with the consent of his lord, King Friedrich (IV.). Pfarre zum heil. Laurentius in Nêlib präsentierte, in seiner Gegenwart dem
Abte auf dessen Wunsch gelobte, den Gehorsam zu leisten und den Jahreszins,
welcher auf Grund der Incorporation laut der darüber ausgestellten Urkunden

Siegler: der Austeller.King Friedrich [III.] reports (lets ... you know) [to the judges, council, and citizens of the towns of Krems and Stein (ze Krembs und Stain)], that after he has already ordered soldiers on horseback and on foot to be equipped with armor and otherwise made ready (ze schikchen aufzesein), as soon as the captains command (aufervordern), he has learned that the Hungarians are already attacking land and people and are fortifying a position with ditches and fences for defensive purposes at the March (at the river called the March) near Dürnkrut (Krudt). The issuer wishes to oppose this with the help of the recipients and other compatriots (underchomen), and therefore commands (requests and asks) that by the next St. Martin’s Day [= 11 November] as many horsemen and foot soldiers as possible be mustered, as the recipients owe to the issuer’s relative (cousin), King Ladislaus [Postumus] (Lasslawen), in order to prevent further harm to land and people. Laudislaus dem Propst und Konvent des Gotteshauses zu Dürnstein
(Tirnstain) die Zustimmung zum Kauf von der Lehenschaft
des österreichischen Landesfürsten unterliegenden Gülten und Gütern. Propst
und Konvent hatten von Wolfgang Missingdorfer
vier Holden auf vier Gütern, gelegen in dem
Wasen, die jährlich 5 lb d dienen, weiters ein Tagwerk
Wiesen und einen Baumgarten daselbst gekauft. Sollten diese Güter jemals
verkauft werden, so haben die Käufer diese nach Landesrecht vom
Landesfürsten zu Lehen zu nehmen.King Friedrich (IV.), as guardian of his nephew King Laudislaus, grants the provost and convent of the house of God at Dürnstein (Tirnstain) consent to purchase rents and properties subject to the feudal authority of the Austrian territorial prince. The provost and convent had purchased from Wolfgang Missingdorfer four serfs on four properties, located in the Wasen, which yield an annual rent of 5 pounds, as well as a day's work of meadow and an orchard there. Should these properties ever be sold, the buyers must receive them as fiefs from the territorial prince according to the law of the land.

Landesfürsten.Pope Nicholas (V.), at the request of King Friedrich (IV.), confirms the incorporation of the parish church of St. Peter in Laibach, together with the neighboring chapel of St. John, into the Neukloster, which he has founded in place of a convent of Dominican friars. The former Bishop of Trent and Cardinal Priest of the title of St. Lawrence in Damaso, Alexander, had already de facto confirmed this foundation together with its endowment and, with the consent of its rector, incorporated this church into the monastery, while preserving a sufficient share of the income for a permanent vicar there, as well as the patronage and presentation rights of the territorial lord.

Abstract: Papst Nikolaus (V.) beauftragt die Bischöfe von Freising und
Triest sowie den Abt des Neuklosters, bei der Ausführung eines Privilegs
mitzuwirken, das bereits von seinem Vorgänger Papst Eugen (IV.) dem König
Friedrich (IV.) verliehen worden war und das er selbst erneuert. Dem König
wird das Recht eingeräumt, an 100 geignete geistliche Personen geistliche
Pfründen vergeben zu dürfen. Papst Eugen hatte zuvor den Bischof Silvester
von Chiemsee beauftragt, doch erschwerten die räumliche Entfernung der
Residenz des Bischofs und seine Krankheit die Durchführung des
Auftrages.Pope Nicholas (V) commissions the Bishops of Freising and Trieste as well as the Abbot of Neukloster to assist in the execution of a privilege that had already been granted by his predecessor Pope Eugene (IV) to King Friedrich (IV) and which he himself renews. Previously, Pope Eugene had commissioned Bishop Silvester of Chiemsee, but the distance of the bishop’s residence and his illness hindered the execution of the mandate.

Pernnhart, Count of Schaewnberg, Land Marshal in Austria, certifies that, on the instruction of his lord [King Friedrich IV], he has postponed the court hearing in the dispute between Abbot Wolfgang [II] and the convent at Goetweig on the one side and the noble Wulfing von Liechtenekg on the other, which was to be held before him today (date of the charter), for 14 days. The parties are therefore to appear before him or his attorney on the 14th day from the date of this charter, whereupon judgment will be rendered even in the absence of one party.
