S[ilvester], bishop of Carlisle, assigns for the vicarage of Walton that the vicar presented by the canons is to have the altarage of the church of Walton with six acres of land next to the church, saving to the canons the tithes of their two mills in the parish and also, except the mortuaries in its 'parish', the chapel of Triermain which the canons are to have served at their own expense, and saving also all possessions and offerings of the conventual church of Lanercost now in the canons' possession; the vicar is to bear the ordinary burdens of the church of Walton.
