Der römische Kaiser Friedrich befreit über Bitten des Dechant und
Kapitel zu St. Stephan zu Wien im Hinblick auf die Schäden, Mängel und
„abganng ihrere Nutz und Gülte, die in den „erganngen“ Kriegsläufen
entstanden sind, auch den löblichen Gottesdienst, der bei dem genannten
Sitft täglich ohne Unterlass vollbracht wird, als regierender Herr und
Landesfürst in Österreich unter und ob der Enns für sein Leben lang das
Kapitel von jeder Steuer („für all vnd yeglich Stewr vnd Ansleg so
jeczuczeitten auf die Prelaten durch vnns oder Gemaine Landtschafft
desselben vnnsers fürstenthums Östereich vnnder der Enns gelegt vnd geslagen
werden.“)
The Roman Emperor Friedrich, at the request of the dean and chapter of St. Stephen's in Vienna, in view of the damages, deficiencies, and loss of their income and revenues that have arisen during the recent wars, as well as in consideration of the praiseworthy divine service that is performed daily without interruption at the aforementioned foundation, as reigning lord and territorial prince in Austria below and above the Enns, exempts the chapter for his lifetime from all taxes (
