Jeronimus, Abt der Schotten in Wien, gibt über Bitte Meister Paul
Lewmann von Melkch, Lehrer der hl. Schrift und Dechant des Kapitels zu St.
Stephan in Wien, das Vidimus einer Urkunde Kaiser Friedrichs (IV.) „gegeben
zu“ Neustadt an St. Peterstag „ad kathedram“ (22. Februar“ 1443, wordurch
der Kaiser die Messen-, Jahrtags- und ewige Lichtstiftung des Propsten
Wilhalm des Türs bestätigt und als Lehensherr das Benefizium dem Chorherren
Sigmund von St. Stephan verleiht.
Jeronimus, Abbot of the Scots in Vienna, at the request of Master Paul Lewmann of Melkch, teacher of Holy Scripture and dean of the chapter at St. Stephen in Vienna, issues the vidimus of a charter of Emperor Friedrich (IV.), “given at” Neustadt on the feast of St. Peter “ad cathedram” (22 February) 1443, by which the Emperor confirms the foundation for masses, anniversaries, and perpetual light established by Provost Wilhalm des Türs, and as feudal lord grants the benefice to the canon Sigmund of St. Stephen.
