Bartholomeus Texerius, Generalmagister des Predigerordens, teilt dem Prior Martinus Swab und den Brüdern des Konvents seines Ordens in Wiener Neustadt mit, daß ihn König Friedrich (IV.) brieflich und durch Boten von seiner Absicht unterrichtet hat, in dieser Stadt ein neues Kloster zu errichten. Dazu sollen die Predigerbrüder ihr nahe der königlichen Burg gelegenes Kloster, das ohnehin einer Restaurierungbedarf, deren Kosten die Möglichkeiten des Ordens übersteigen, dem König abtreten und in das in der Stadt befindliche Frauenkloster des Ordens zu St. Peter übersiedeln, die dortigen Schwestern aber in andere Klöster ihres Ordens gehen. Die Brüder können ihre bisherigen Einkünfte neben dem Besitz des Petersklosters behalten. Der Generalmagister will dem Wunsch des Königs entsprechen und fordert die Brüder des Konvents auf, ihr Kloster zu räumen und nach St. Peter zu übersiedeln. Den Schwestern dieses Klosters gestattet er, sich in andere Frauenklöster des Ordens zu begeben, deren Priorinnen und Schwestern er streng aufträgt, sie liebevoll aufzunehmen.
Bartholomeus Texerius, General Master of the Order of Preachers, informs Prior Martinus Swab and the brothers of the convent of his order in Wiener Neustadt that King Friedrich (IV.) has notified him by letter and by messenger of his intention to establish a new monastery in this city. For this purpose, the Dominican brothers are to cede their monastery, which is located near the royal castle and in need of restoration—costs which exceed the means of the order—to the king, and move into the women’s monastery of the order of St. Peter located in the city. The sisters currently residing there are to transfer to other convents of their order. The brothers may retain their previous income in addition to the property of the St. Peter’s monastery. The General Master wishes to comply with the king’s request and calls upon the brothers of the convent to vacate their monastery and move to St. Peter’s. He permits the sisters of this monastery to transfer to other women’s convents of the order, and strictly instructs the prioresses and sisters of those convents to receive them kindly.
