Abt Johannes von Cîteaux beauftragt seinen Mitabt in Rein, die von König Friedrich (IV.) beabsichtigte Neugründung in Wiener Neustadt durchzuführen. Das neue Kloster wird Rein und dessen Abt unterstellt sein und den Namen Locus sancti Bernardi in Austria führen. Der Abt soll dafür geeignete Religiösen auswählen.
Abbot Johannes of Cîteaux commissions his fellow abbot in Rein to carry out the new foundation in Wiener Neustadt intended by King Friedrich (IV.).
