Die Generalsynode von Basel beauftragt den Abt des Klosters St. Lambrecht, die von König Friedrich (IV.) erbetene Inkorporierung der Pfarrkirche in Laibach in das Cistercienserkloster in Wiener Neustadt zu prüfen und in der Autorität der Synode zu entscheiden. Der König hat das von ihm gegründete Kloster, in dem bereits eine große Zahl von Brüdern lebt, unter anderem mit der Pfarrkirche von Laibach ausgestattet, deren Patronats- und Präsentationsrecht ihm als Herzog von Krain zustehen. Auf seine Bitte hin hat der Patriarch vonAquileja Alexander die Pfarrkirche dem Kloster inkoporiert, unter ausdrücklicher Zustimmung des damaligen Kirchenrektors und unter der Bedingung, daß das Kloster die bischöflichen Rechte ablöst und andere, im Brief des Patriarchen aufgezählte Lasten für die Kirche übernimmt. Abt und Konvent haben die Kirche bereits in Besitz genommen. Der König erbittet von der Synode, zur zusätzlichen Sicherung die Inkorporation zu approbieren oder neu vorzunehmen (vel saltem de novo fieri). Weiters möge das Kloster von der Leistung der bischöflichen Auflagen befreit und diese dem Vikar zugewiesen werden. Auch das landesfürstliche Patronats- und Präsentationsrecht auf diese Pfarre soll bestätigt werden. Die Synode, obwohl dem Ansuchen geneigt, besitzt darüber keine sichere Kenntnis und beauftragt den Abt von St. Lambrecht, nach sorgfältiger Prüfung die Pfarrkirche von Laibach von neuem dem Kloster in Wiener Neustadt zu inkorporieren. Er soll auch dafür sorgen, daß der Vikar einen ausreichenden Anteil erhält, der es ihm erlaubt, in Würde zu leben und die ihm auferlegten Leistungen für den Bischof und seine Kirche zu erbringen. Das Patronats- und Präsentationsrecht des Königs ist zu bestätigen.
The General Synod of Basel commissions the abbot of the monastery of St. Lambrecht to examine the incorporation of the parish church in Laibach into the Cistercian monastery in Wiener Neustadt, as requested by King Friedrich (IV.), and to decide on this matter with the authority of the Synod. The king has endowed the monastery he founded, in which a large number of brothers already live, among other things with the parish church of Laibach, whose right of patronage and presentation belongs to him as Duke of Carniola. At his request, Patriarch Alexander of Aquileia has incorporated the parish church into the monastery, with the express consent of the then rector of the church and on the condition that the monastery redeems the episcopal rights and assumes other burdens for the church as listed in the patriarch’s letter. The abbot and convent have already taken possession of the church. The king requests the Synod, for additional security, to approve the incorporation or to carry it out anew (vel saltem de novo fieri). Furthermore, the monastery should be released from the fulfillment of episcopal obligations, and these should be assigned to the vicar. The sovereign right of patronage and presentation over this parish should also be confirmed. The Synod, although inclined to grant the request, does not have certain knowledge of the matter and commissions the abbot of St. Lambrecht, after careful examination, to incorporate the parish church of Laibach anew into the monastery in Wiener Neustadt. He is also to ensure that the vicar receives a sufficient share, enabling him to live in dignity and fulfill the obligations imposed on him for the bishop and his church. The king’s right of patronage and presentation is to be confirmed.
