Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Westm[] a die sancti Michaelis in tres septimanas anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis tertio coram domino H de Burgo tunc justiciario Angl[] Martino de Pateshull[] Radulfo Hareng Stephano de Segrave Symone de Insula et aliis domini regis fidelibus tunc ibi presentibus inter Martinum abbatem de Messinden[] querentem per Philippum canonicum suum positum loco ipsius abbatis ad lucrandum vel perdendum et Thurstanum Basset deforciantem per Johannem filium Willelmi positum loco ipsius Thurstani ad lucrandum vel perdendum de tribus carucatis terre cum pertinentiis in Lega unde placitum warantie carte summonitum fuit inter eos in prefata curia scilicet quod predictus Thurstanus recognovit et concessit totam predictam terram cum pertinentiis esse jus ipsius abbatis tenend ipsi abbati et successoribus suis in perpetuum in puram et perpetuam elemosinam liberam et quietam ab omni seculari servitio et exactione Et pro hac recognitione concessione fine et concordia idem abbas dedit predicto Thurstano quindecim marcas argenti
