Universis presens scriptum inspecturis Lvdwicus de Liebegge1 subscripte rei noticiam. Scire cupio tam presentes quam posteros, || quod cum a nobili viro comite de Raprechwiler2 advocatiam super predio et hominibus monasterii Heremitarum3 in villa Eredingen4 || titulo feodi possedissem, eandem advocatiam, de qua solvuntur annuatim tres modii tritici et maltarum avene Tivricensis mensure5, || vendidi venerabili domino Volrico dei gratia abbati Heremitarum6 pro XI libris et XII sol(idis) et promisi, quod infra VI annos apud dominum de Raprechwiler, quicumque fuerit7, efficiam, quod ipse dictam advocatiam, quam a predicto abbate obtinet in feoduma), sibi libere resignabit. Quod si nec per me nec per predictum dominum abbatem potuerit obtineri, presentibus obligavi me dictam pecuniam redditurum. Alioquin, postquam fuero requisitus, infra XVI septimanas me cum Chvonone milite de Liebegge8 et Arnoldo9 milite filio meo et Hylteboldo milite de Heideche10 in villam Arowa11 usque ad redditionem plenariam dicte pecunie in obstagio presentabo sub debito fidei dato nomine iuramenti. Quorum fideiussorum si unus decesserit, alter infra unam septimanam substituetur, reliquis nichilominus in obstagio permansuris. Promisi etiam, ut, si hec omnia debitum sorttitab) fuerint effectum, tunc prefato monasterio meum dabo instrumentum super contractub) vendicionis advocatie superius nominate, et predicti fideiussores, quousque hoc fiat, in obstagio permanebunt. Infra VI annos vero, post quos vendicio ratificari debet, dominus abbas statutum et consuetum servicium recipiet annuatim, in quibus pro me et meis successoribus omni iuri renuntio, etiam si vendicio rescindetur. Medio etiam tempore, quousque supradicta pecunia soluta non fuerit, nichil iuris nichil lucri mihi in dicta advocatia aliquatinus vendicabo. Si autem, quod deus avertat, medio tempore decessero, mei successores predictum contractum secundum condicionem prehabitam ratum habebunt. Et ut hec debiti roboris obtineant firmitatem, dedi hanc paginam sigillo nobilis viri Marchwardi de Wolhusen12 necnon meo et Chvononis militis de Liebegge et Hytiboldib) militis de Hedeche communitam.
