      In nomine sancte et individue Trinitatis, amen. Non in uno, imo in multis spoliata est in casu primi hominis humana na- tura. Nam homo, qui creatus erat posse non mori, in ipsa transgressione induit mortalitatem, et inter cetera bona, quf perdidit, ita debilitata est memoria humana, et facta obli- viosa, ut que per hominem geruntur per successionem tem- porum, quasi facta non fuerint, in oblivionem vertantur, nisi aut vivo testimonio, aut scripture suffragio roborentur. Notum sit igitur tam presentibus, quam futuris, presens scriptum in- tuentibus, (juod nos, Cuonradus episcopus Constantensis, una cum conseusu et bona voluntate capituli nostri ad peticionem gloriosissimi domini nostri, H. regis et aliorum multorum episcoporum et principum, indulsimus et donavimus canonicis ecclesie Spirensis totales proventus ecclesie Ezzelingen ad supplementum stipendiorum suorum, retenta nobis nostrisque successoribus procuracione, si qua nos vel eos ad locum pre- dictum declinare contigerit.
