Monasterium - Lower Austria

Under the cooperation of the eleven order monasteries in Lower Austrian and Vienna, the contents of their archives’ preserved primary documents was digitalized and made available online between 2002 and 2005. A total of almost 25,000 pieces could be accessed. Since then there has been continual additions to the index, such as some of the documents from the Austrian State Archive. The process of broadening the archive to secular contents is already underway.
