Monasterium – Bavaria The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Society) approved a project from the General Directorate of the Staatlichen Archive Bayerns (Bavarian State Archives) for the creation of a portal for the large contents of digitalized primary documents from the southern German area. (Start January 2008). Appropriations were initially prepared for a period of two years. (projected total duration: 36 months). At present, two scholastic colleagues as well as two auxiliary staff members. The first fruits of the cooperation of the Bayerische Hauptarchiv (Bavarian Main Archive) with “Monasterium” can be access on www.monasterium.net for research.
